Elk Grove Holiday Parade of Lights
The Overhead Door Company of Sacramento participated in the Elk Grove Parade of lights on Saturday, November 25. This was such a fun community event that brought residents, business owners, schools, and the community together to kick off the holiday season. Marching bands were playing holiday music, floats were covered in bright lights, and Santa and the Mrs. were in the parade as well.
Overhead Door Company of Sacramento has entered a float entry into this parade for the last several years. It is always a fantastic night. This year the company had a truck, trailer, and a golf cart as our parade entry. Several team members and family road on the float, and passed out fliers with candy canes to the viewers who lined the parade route. The city of Elk Grove was out in full force as the parade route was packed with people. It was awesome to see so many people from the community participating in the parade.
This year Lori Wallace from Studio40 Live announced our parade entry. She did a fantastic job of reminding customers to always look for the “Red Ribbon” logo. Our float was decorated with a snowman, two elves, and a Christmas tree. It also consisted of two Overhead Door Company of Sacramento banners, and loads, and loads of lights.
Thank you so much to the city of Elk Grove. The Overhead Door Company of Sacramento looks forward to this event every year. Seeing all of those floats lit up, music playing, children smiling, and people simply enjoying the night makes this event wonderful.
